our mission
"The mission of the American Business Women's Association is to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking, support, and national recognition."
who we are
Five years strong, celebrating 77 years of ABWA National.
The American Business Women's Association was founded in 1949, when the term "businesswoman" was still an oddity. Chartered on August 20, 2021, Alabama Leading Ladies carries that legacy forward in Madison and Huntsville — a chapter and community where working women and business owners gain career development, pursue new opportunities, and are mentored by like-minded women who genuinely care.
We invite you to visit a luncheon, meet the chapter, and see what a national organization with a local, personal touch feels like.
